Ryan’s Ti singlespeed fits 2.6’s with 415mm chainstays. The Paragon Sliders enable a 2.8 to fit at a longer chainstay length. Parts include Industry 9 wheels and stem, Absolute Black rings, Cane Creek T47 BB and eeWings cranks, Fox 34 Stepcast 120mm and a 150mm Transfer dropper, ENVE bars, White Industries headset, XT brakes, two Ti King Cages, and stunning purple anodization by Agave Finishworks to top it off.

Carrie’s 650x54’s currently with Ultradynamico 48’s.This was a fun bike to design with YouBet Bikes, dialing it in for a 155cm rider with 650b wheels and geometry tweaked to the area it’ll be mostly be ridden. The ENVE gravel fork and Paul Boxcar stem were painted to match the glittery copper created by Blackmagic Paint, fading to cream soda at the rear triangle. It’s a unique color scheme that Carrie requested and Wow did they deliver! One person said it looks like a root beer float and I agree. Built with Shimano GRX, White Industries G30 cranks, headset & hubs, PNW 90mm dropper triggered by the left shift lever, Phil Wood collar, and stainless King cages making mostly US made 🇺🇸 Photos courtesy of Jay @_you.bet_

#tbt Kent Middle School’s first skate day, 1985 I believe. Nothing to do with bikes, other than my new Schwinn High Sierra got stolen from the bike rack that same year. That and rolling has always been an addiction. Kids have it so easy now with all the amazing skateparks. We made these from “borrowed” lumber and carted the launch ramps around to various parking lots until the cops kicked us out, then onto the next spot. Photo probably by @theohand

Some riders still love super short chainstays even though it seems like they’re trending longer these days. I do my best to accommodate the customer’s desired geometry and aesthetic with my current tooling and knowledge, but it doesn’t always work out as expected. This one came out a bit different but I like it! Each frame is still a learning experience mostly because that’s the nature of custom - I’m always trying new things to make the bike ride and look like they want it to and as a result not many of the frames made look alike. Not great for branding but I hope I’ve made some happy customers over the years. I’ll write more about this frame once it’s back from getting Cerakote…#meriwethercycles
