Sue’s 29+ inspired-by-a-bag-of chips-eaten-on-the-Baja Divide Snackpacking™️ frame is heading up to Alaska to meet some of its compatriots. Geometry adapted from but very close to her current Mone’ La Roca. This frame has a portage handle when the full framebag is mounted and the lower-standover brace functions as that as well… so it has TWO handles! The short 410mm chainstay length with the new Paragon Sliding dropouts provide 20mm of length adjustment for bigger tires or longer wheelbase purposes. The new sliders use the axle as one of the cinch bolts so I have no doubt this version will never slip. I had great results with the OG Sliders too but these are a bit of an improvement and also have the brake caliper located on the chainstay vs seatstay. Frame will fit a 2.8 or 3” tire with the sliders back a bit. Rack mounts for a Tumbleweed T-rack or the like. Enjoy! #meriwethercycles

I don’t always get nice built-up photos of the frames I send out, but I love it when I do. Especially when they have a dog in them, or cat, or pig, or cow. I don’t discriminate.

First frame back at it. I had mitered the front triangle in December but then broke my damn leg so didn’t finish it until a couple of weeks ago. This is an update of a bike made several years ago but with disc brakes, different tubeset including a bi-oval downtube, tapered head tube for an ENVE fork, but still in Powers’ team colors of course. Now onto the next in line, lots of frames to build this year! Working my way back to full time as best I can…just starting to walk without crutches a quarter mile at a time.

Quick shop update: I’m about 9 weeks post-op from my tibial plateau surgery and 11 from the fall. I am just starting to put full body weight on the leg - walking with one crutch for stability while I get strength back and the bone continues to heal. I will be starting to get back in the shop but it’s going to take some time to learn how much I can do each day while not doing any damage. I’m getting closer though and PT is going well.
