This frame is very similar to the last one but it’s not for me, it’s for Jim in Minnesota who will be racing it instead of my orange Nobilette cross frame (the first of its kind!) bought at Sports Garage in Boulder back around 1996. That bike has been around for awhile! Raced by me for two seasons, became my townie, then got ridden as a mountain commuter by another friend, then sent to the great mid-west where Jim has been racing it the last couple of seasons as a singlespeed. I am sure it will live on after being retired from racing this time around. Steel…yep…you can ride it forever!
It’s not your typical new cross bike geometry. It’s more of a mix between old-school geometry and the new roadie-CX geometry.
