Jake’s Ti gravel bike

Jake is one of my first Sacramento customers somehow. I’m thankful for the referral from Tim at Joule Cycling that told Jake about my new Titanium offerings. Tim ordered a sea foam green segmented fork some years ago for his custom steel singlespeed.

Jake wanted a bike that would be perfect for both cross racing in the Fall but also riding the endless dirt roads in the Sierra Foothills, and Grasshopper type events the rest of the year.  So the bike has some flexibility built into it by using Paragon Rocker dropouts to allow shorter chainstays for racing and longer chanstays and larger tires for gravel rides.  Chainstay length is 420mm with the Rockers all the way forward to fit 40mm tires and 438mm when slid all the way back to fit 700×50 with room to spare.  Tapered head tube with a matte bourbon King dropset headset adds a seamless look to the frame/fork junction.  Built with SRAM eTap AXS, ENVE gravel bars, wheels, stem and post, it’s a dream gravel rig.  WTB Raddler 700×40 tires to start him off on Yankee Jims. The bike looks so clean looking with the wireless AXS gruppo!  Looking forward to seeing this one out and about!
