Fall ride & King Cage stem mount

I don’t do much in the way of blogging about my rides, but every now and then i’ll throw some pics in here. Fall season more than others probably since it’s so damn awesome this time of year.

I also wanted to give props to a new-to-me product — the King Cage stem-mounted bottle cage mount.  It’s dorky, but it’s rad. Especially for touring. No reaching down, the water bottle is right there, and it’s solid.  I rode 40 miles of really rough trail yesterday and didn’t drop a bottle once.  Maybe rigid it’ll be a different story but with a suspension fork it fine and didn’t come loose.  For long rides and tours when you don’t know when your next water supply will arrive, and you don’t like more weight on your back (camelbak bladder) this is the trick.
